Use a QR voucher to collect a physical Priority Pass at Taipei 101’s 5th-floor counter, then take the express elevator to the 89th-floor observatory. You’ll see Taipei from indoor and outdoor viewing areas, watch the 37-second lift ride, and visit the 660-tonne tuned mass damper. The pass also speeds your return trip.

Visit Taipei’s National Palace Museum at your own pace with a one-day e-ticket for $11. See the Jadeite Cabbage, Mao Gong Ding, ancient books, scrolls, and thousands of Chinese artifacts. The North Branch option includes priority entry and Zhishan Garden, while audio guides are available in nine languages. No guide is included.

Spend about nine hours beyond Taipei with a guide such as Jerry, Pauline, Amy, or Bratt. Release a sky lantern in Shifen, visit its waterfall, wander Jiufen Old Street, and explore Yehliu Geopark. Transportation, a professional driver, insurance, and Yehliu admission are included. Bring waterproof shoes and expect a large group.

Visit Taipei’s National Palace Museum and Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines with one ticket valid for a day. See the Jadeite Cabbage, ancient bronzes, calligraphy, tribal clothing, hunting tools, and ceremonial objects. The museums are self-guided, with no hotel pickup, meals, or guided tour included.

Visit Yehliu Geopark in New Taipei City for a full day among rocks shaped by seawater and wind. See Queen’s Head, Ice Cream Rock, Honeycombed Rock, Ginger Rock, and Candle Rock. Your ticket includes QR-code entry and a Taiwan FunPASS audio guide in English, Chinese, Japanese, or Korean. Transportation is not included.
Spend a day at Taipei Zoo, home to more than 400 types of wildlife, then ride the Maokong Gondola toward tea-growing Maokong Mountain. Choose zoo entry alone or add a gondola day pass. You redeem separate paper tickets at the zoo entrance and the gondola’s Taipei Zoo South Station.
Use the Taipei FunPass for one to three calendar days of MRT, bus, railway, and tourist shuttle rides, plus one-time entry to up to 34 attractions. Plan around Taipei 101, Yehliu, Jiufen, museums, Pingxi, and Maokong. Pick up the physical pass with your passport, then combine paid admissions and local transport into one flexible city pass.

Visit Taipei 101’s 88th and 89th-floor observatories with a timed e-ticket, then step onto the 91st-floor outdoor deck when weather allows. The high-speed elevator reaches the main viewing floor in under a minute. You’ll also see the huge tuned mass damper, shop for souvenirs, and enjoy wide views across Taipei. The 101st floor is not included.

Enter Alishan National Forest Recreation Area with a QR code and explore ancient Taiwan Red Cypress trees, Sisters Ponds, Shouzhen Temple, forest paths, and Zhushan sunrise viewpoints. The base ticket covers one entry for 365 days. Optional packages add electric bus rides, a Fenqihu railway lunchbox, or Sunrise Cakes and millet mochi. No guide is included.
Travel from Taipei Main Station or Ximen Station to Leofoo Village Theme Park on a round-trip shuttle. Your mobile voucher covers general admission and fast-track entry, so you can head straight inside. Spend about seven hours with rides such as Ring of Fire and Sea Serpent, plus Taiwan’s largest open-range safari park. Water Park entry, meals, and a guide are not included.
“This was perfect to spend a day trip. The park was not overly busy which also helped with impatient kids! The package including transportation was great as well, but beware that the return trip will take a lot longer due to rush hour traffic.”
Visit Chiang Kai-Shek Shilin Residence, the former home of Chiang Kai-Shek and his wife. Your ticket covers both floors of the main building and an audio guide in Chinese, English, or Japanese. Walk through the inner garden, see the dark-green residence, and learn how the couple lived. Allow time around the midday closure.
Use your QR code at the counter to collect a physical ticket for a full day at Heping Island Geopark. You can see Elephant Rock, Mushroom Rock, Candlestick Rock, fossils, coastal formations, plants, and wildlife across a 71-hectare park. This is a self-guided visit, with audio guides available for an extra cost.
